Tema plenarnog predavanja dr Jelene Krulj na STED 2022: Food Waste and By-products as Potential Mycotoxin Biosorbents

Dr Jelena Krulj is an engineer of food technology and a Research Associate at Institute of Food Technology, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Jelena Krulj received both BSc (2010) and MSc (2011) degrees in Food Biotechnology from the Faculty of Technology, University in Novi Sad, Serbia. In 2019, she defended PhD thesis entitled: Potential biosynthesis of aflatoxin B1 in different species of Triticum spp. Her research is focused mainly on the quality and safety of plant based food products – microbiology and micotoxicology, characterization new cereals and pseudocereals products, development and validation of chromatographic analytical method. She is a Lead HPLC Analyst at FINSLab accredited laboratory.

She is author and co-author of about 70 scientific papers in international/national journals and conference proceedings. She has participated as a team member in a number of national and international projects. She is a member of Serbian Food Technologists Association and Serbian Society for Microbiology.

Dr Jelena Krulj je inženjer tehnologije hrane zaposlena u zvanju naučni saradnik u Naučnom institutu za prehrambene tehnologije u Novom Sadu, Univerzitet Novi Sad, Srbija.

Završila je osnovne (2010) i master (2011) studije u okviru studijskog programa Biotehnologija na Tehnološkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu, Univerzitet Novi Sad, Srbija.Doktorsku disertaciju pod nazivom: Potencijal biosinteze aflatoksina B1 u različitim vrstama Triticum spp. odbranila je 2019 god. na Tehnološkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu. Njena istraživanja su uglavnom fokusirana na kvalitet i bezbednost hrane biljnog porekla, prevashodno na mikrobiologiju i mikotoksikologiju, karakterizaciju novih proizvoda od žita i pseudožita, kao i razvoj i validaciju hromatografskih metoda.

Jelena Krulj je vodeći analitičar za HPLC u okviru akreditovane laboratorije FINSLab. Autor i koautor je 70 naučnih radova u međunarodnim i nacionalnim časopisima i zbornicima radova. Učestvovala je na nekoliko nacionalnih i međunarodnih projekata. Član je Udruženja prehrambenih tehnologa Srbije i Udruženja mikrobiologa Srbije.
